Privacy Policy

Builderlog ("we", "us") publishes honest build logs at builderlog.net. This page explains what data is collected when you visit and how it is used. We keep this deliberately short and plain.

What we collect

• Analytics — We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic (page views, rough location, device type). This data is anonymized and never tied to your identity.
• View counts — Each post has a simple counter stored in Cloudflare KV. It records a number, not who you are.
• Server logs — Our host (Cloudflare) keeps standard access logs (IP, user agent) for security and abuse prevention.
• Information you choose to send — If you email us or submit the optional workflow fit-check form, we receive the name or team label, reply address, and task description you provide. The form delivers that message to a private operator notification channel.

There is no account signup or newsletter gate. Do not submit passwords, access tokens, customer records, or identifying workflow data.

How inquiry information is used

We use voluntarily submitted contact details and task descriptions only to assess the request and reply. They are not published or counted as a sale. Share a sanitized workflow description and only the minimum contact detail needed for a response.

Payments and My Purchases (Kakao login)

Package payments run in the Toss Payments checkout window. Card details are handled by Toss Payments; Builderlog never receives them. We store the order number, product, amount, payment status and the Toss payment key to process orders, verify downloads and handle refunds.

Kakao login is optional. If you log in we receive only your Kakao member number to link purchases; we do not receive your name, email, phone number or profile. A 30-day secure cookie (bl_session) keeps you logged in, and Kakao access tokens are not stored.

When you link a Gumroad purchase we verify you by purchase email and order number. As we stopped selling on Gumroad (2026-10-03), we keep a copy of past sales so existing buyers can still download: the email itself is not stored, only an irreversible fingerprint (hash) with the order number, product and refund status. The linked sale ID and product name are stored with your Kakao account.

Order and payment records are kept for 5 years as required by Korean e-commerce law. To delete your account, contact us; we remove the member number and purchase links (except legally required records). Processors: Toss Payments (payments), Kakao (login), Cloudflare (servers and storage).

Cookies & advertising

Builderlog displays ads through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits.

• You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
• You can review how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
• Third-party vendors and ad networks may be listed at aboutads.info, where you can opt out.

Affiliate links

Some posts may contain affiliate links (e.g. Coupang Partners). If you buy through them, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links never change our honest assessment of a tool.

Your choices

You can block cookies in your browser settings and use the opt-out links above. Since we don't collect personal accounts, there is no profile to delete.
